PASSPORT REQUIREMENTS

A passport is required and must be valid for six months after the completion of travel. Please ensure the name on your passport matches your name as it appears on your booking. Additionally, make certain that your passport contains blank pages for entry and exit endorsements and any visas that may be required. If necessary, allow sufficient time to renew your passport and/or obtain additional pages.
There may be occasions where we retain your passport at check-in. This is to ensure that you are not inconvenienced by immigration clearance during your cruise and where face to face inspection is not required. We recommend you bring a second government issued photo ID if you wish to have one with you while in port.

ONBOARD SMOKING POLICY

Princess Cruises is committed to providing our guests with a relaxed, rejuvenating retreat at sea. In keeping with this goal, we have increased the scope of non-smoking areas onboard all Princess vessels. Smoking is not permitted in most areas of the ship, including all staterooms and balconies. Violations to this non-smoking policy will result in a $250 fine for each occurrence, which will be charged to the guest's stateroom account. For guests who wish to smoke, a cigar/smoking lounge and a limited number of designated smoking areas will be reserved for this purpose. As a safety precaution, guests are reminded to properly dispose of cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco, which are never to be thrown overboard as these may be sucked back into the ship and cause fires. For additional information, please visit the Cruise Answer Place at: http://www.princess.com/learn/faq_answer/onboard/experience.jsp and click on the "Smoking Policy Change" link.
*Cigar lounges are available on select vessels.

WHEELCHAIR NOTIFICATION

If you require the use of a wheelchair onboard or ashore, you must bring your own. Without exception, ship wheelchairs are reserved for emergency use ONLY and are not available for use during the cruise. For safety reasons, we are required to keep alleyways clear from obstructions. All mobility devices (including scooters) MUST be stowed in your stateroom when not in use. For your guidance, standard stateroom door clearance is 22". Some ports require the ship to anchor off shore. If so, guests are taken ashore by small boats or tenders. For the safety of all involved; guests and mobility devices will not be transferred in/out of the tender if physical lifting of 50 pounds or more is required. Gangway position, shore-side facilities, movement of the tender, weather and tidal conditions may preclude tendering. The decision to allow guests to disembark or board a tender will be made by the Officer in Charge on the basis of the safety and welfare of all involved and is FINAL. If guests are unable to tender or disembark because of circumstances outlined above there will be no refund or credit for missed ports.

GRATUITY PAYMENT INFORMATION

To simplify the tipping process for our guests, a discretionary gratuity of USD 12 per person for mini-suites and suites, and USD 11.50 per guest in all other staterooms, per day (including children) will be automatically added to your shipboard account. This gratuity will be shared amongst those staff that help provide and support your cruise experience, including all waitstaff, stateroom stewards, buffet stewards, and housekeeping staff. For your convenience, this gratuity can be pre-paid before you sail by calling 1-800 PRINCESS and referencing Special Services item number 0591. Pre-paid gratuities may be added up to two days prior to your embarkation.
You have complete discretion to adjust these gratuities while onboard; however, gratuities may only be adjusted prior to disembarking the ship.

ITINERARY CHANGE

Please be advised that in order to enhance the guest experience, Royal Princess will now call to Dublin from 5:00 AM to 10:30 PM on Sunday, August 17, 2015, rather than Dun Laoghaire (for Dublin) on August 16 as previously scheduled. Princess shore excursions will operate from the Dublin terminal; guests with independent sightseeing arrangements should be guided accordingly. In order to accommodate this change, we will now call to Liverpool on Sunday, August 16 rather than Monday, August 17.

HEALTH SCREENING ADVISORY

In recognition of continuing concerns regarding the Ebola virus, we wish to advise you that we have adopted boarding procedures and screenings following collaboration with international health authorities. We are screening for any guests or crew who have visited or traveled through countries with a US CDC Level 3 Travel Warning (Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea) or had physical contact with or helped care for a person suspected of having Ebola within 21 days of a cruise departure date. These individuals will be denied boarding. We are also monitoring bookings for any guests coming from these countries. Princess Cruises has in place robust medical protocols that are consistent with public health guidance. We are monitoring the situation closely, along with our colleagues in the rest of the travel industry. Guests seeking more information on Ebola can visit the World Health Organization's website at www.who.int or the CDC website at www.cdc.gov/vhf/ebola/. Should you have any questions about these travel requirements, please call 0843 3740014 to speak with a Princess Guest Relations agent.
